摘要: Abstract The rates of oxidation the 2-, 3- and 4-pyridinecarboxaldehydes by aqueous cobaltic perchlorate in perchloric acid media were found to decrease order 4-PA > 3-PA 2-PA. reactive species oxidant was be hydrolyzed ion, Co(OH)(H2O)5++, reductant showed indications being hydrated form aldehydes. No ionic strength effects found. rate law same for all three aldehydes, Rate = k′2(Co(H2O)6+3)(PA)/(H+. Activation parameters determined reactions
