Carbonaceous anodes for lithium-ion batteries in combination with protic ionic liquids-based electrolytes

摘要: Abstract Protic ionic liquids (PILs) have been recently proposed as a new class of electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). So far, PILs-based used in combination with several battery materials, but never carbonaceous anodes. Since graphite is the state-of-the-art anode LIBs, use electrolyte this material appears particular importance. In work we showed, first time, that can be successfully also graphite. Even if lithium intercalation and deintercalation process these electrode materials occur outside ESW PILs, addition film-forming additive makes possible formation stable SEI and, consequently, electrolytes. The results study indicate performance comparable, even slightly higher, than observed AIL-based
