摘要: Objectives System identification techniques have the potential to assess contribution of underlying systems involved in standing balance by applying well-known disturbances. We investigated reliability parameters obtained with multivariate closed loop system techniques. Methods In twelve healthy elderly tests were performed twice a day during three days. Body sway was measured two minutes eyes and Balance test Room (BalRoom) used apply four disturbances simultaneously: sensory disturbances, proprioceptive visual system, mechanical applied at leg trunk segment. Using techniques, sensitivity functions neuromuscular controller estimated. Based on generalizability theory (G theory), systematic errors sources variability assessed using linear mixed models computing indexes dependability (ID), standard error measurement (SEM) minimal detectable change (MDC). Results A found between first second trial functions. No body sway. The 15 25 moderate excellent when results trials days averaged. To reach an one 7 out parameters, it predicted that least seven must be Conclusion This study shows are promising method elderly. However, most do not appear reliable unless large number collected across multiple third training session for participants is needed day.
