摘要: The last two decades have seen a rapid increase of Fuzhounese immigrants (from Fujian Province, China) to the U.S. This group spurred interest researchers because their new immigrant status and demographic sociocultural background that places them at significant disadvantage compared with majority already-established Chinese immigrants. paper synthesizes existing research on Fuzhounese's historical/cultural migration experiences examines ways in which socio-cultural forces interact post-migration stressors impact onset, manifestation, diagnosis, treatment symptoms this group.
