摘要: Micro-Raman spectroscopy is applied to study structural changes in the vicinity of domain walls ferroelastic lead phosphate Pb3(PO4)2. The Raman spectra measured untwinned and heavily twinned regions monoclinic Pb3(PO4)2 are studied observed differences analysed on basis calculated vibrational modes units with different atomic arrangements. wall-related signals near 537, 65 51 cm−1 result from static displacements Pb2 atoms along binary axis. PO4 tetrahedra rhombohedral geometry can also contribute extra scattering 537 cm−1. deviations their positions couple preferably within Pb2–O sheets parallel cleavage plane. Rearrangements occurring across affect intensity ratios between out-of-plane in-plane components ν4(PO4) bending, rotational translational modes.
