On Video Abstraction Systems' Architectures and Modelling

摘要: Nowadays the huge amount of video material stored in multimedia repositories makes search and retrieval such content a very slow usually difficult task. The existing abstraction systems aim to ease access problem by providing short versions original which navigation process reducing time spent browsing. There are many system variations different kinds output (video skims, keyframe-based summaries, etc). This paper presents unified generic architecture which, tyring synthesize apporaches from literature, aims characterize stages required for as well definition theoretical aspects requirements modelling is first step before building with specific characteristics.
