摘要: Thirteen patients with classical or definite rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have been investigated by the application of a battery histochemical staining methods on muscle biopsy material, viz. myofibrillar ATPase, modified ATPase method acid preincubation, phosphorylase, glycogen (PAS), succinic dehydrogenase, NADH2tetrazolium reductase, fat (sudan black B). Hematoxylin-eosin stain and trichrome were also used. Based their stainability for fibres are classified as type I (lightly stained) II (darkly stained). A preferential atrophy is evident. segmental degeneration accompanied loss enzyme activity found in both types fibre. It emphasized that must be result more complex mechanism than simple “disuse”.
