摘要: The morphologic diagnosis of deep mycoses, although ideally accomplished by culture, often has to be made from tissue sections or smears, when cultures are not available. Especially on specimens containing necrotic foci, the use special stains is absolutely necessary, since hematoxylin and eosin many fungi cannot seen in debris. Stains discussed results with different organisms illustrated. Since recognition tissues granulomatous reaction leads specific curative therapy, their identification one most satisfying aspects surgical pathologist's work.
