摘要: Objective Our aim was to report three new cases of lacrimal neuralgia and their response superficial nerve blocks. Background Lacrimal has been recently described as a pain in the territory supplied by nerve, at lateral upper eyelid and/or adjacent area temple. The is typically accompanied tenderness on palpation superoexternal angle orbit. Methods Between January 2015 June 2016, we prospective identified among patients attending Headache Unit tertiary hospital. Anesthetic blocks were performed all inserting 30-G needle emergence injecting 0.5 cc bupivacaine 0.5% subcutaneously. Results Three women aged 44, 49, 51 presented with nerve. Two them localized small right temple, while remaining patient had lower eyelid. continuous two episodic attacks lasting 48 hours one patient. All confirmed diagnosis provided long-lasting relief. Conclusions Lacrimal should be considered neuralgic causes orbital periorbital pain. Superficial may assist clinicians also therapeutic option.
