摘要: In vitro cultured blood cells for transfusion purposes provide a safe alternative to donor blood, particularly patients who require recurrent transfusions, and can be used as carriers of therapeutic molecules. derivation hematopoietic cell types from human-induced pluripotent stem (iPSCs) allows constant, well-defined production pipeline such advanced medicinal products. Application selected iPSC-derived effector in transplantation/transfusions would avoid the risk alloimmunization blood-borne diseases, well enable enhanced expressing molecules that enforce function or endow novel properties. Here, we discuss state art approaches produce erythroid, megakaryoid myeloid iPSCs biological technical hurdles need overcome prior application.
