摘要: This paper details the development of a novel wireless heart rate sensing system for puppies in training as guide dogs. The includes harness with on-board electrocardiography (ECG) front-end circuit, inertial measurement unit and micro-computer capability where major research focus this was on ergonomic design evaluation puppies. first phase our performed Labrador Retriever between 12 to 26 weeks age pilot study. longitudinal weekly data collected revealed expected trend decreasing average increased variability increased. In second phase, we improved ergonomics larger scale deployment dog school (Guiding Eyes Blind Eyes)) seventy 7.5-week-old (heart coverage 86.7%). acquired ECG based used predict performance Guiding Eyes’s temperament test. We an input machine learning model which predicted two Behavior Checklist (BCL) scores determined by expert puppy evaluators accuracy above 90%.
