摘要: A software radio is a wireless communications device in which some or all of the physical layer functions are implemented software. The flexibility provided by implementation enables single to interoperate with other devices using different technologies, simply invoking appropriate mobile computing equipped would have access wide range connectivity options including cellular, LAN and satellite systems. This not only enable seamless anytime, anywhere connectivity, but also provide users choosing from available best suit their price/performance requirements. Most research date has been driven military commercial cellular applications. Mobile networking applications require additional functionality present new design constraints. paper reviews existing research, describes SpectrumWare system identifies important challenges that must be addressed order apply
