Noise and vibration reduction in computer disk drives

摘要: A disk drive assembly includes a housing having openings substantially filled with polymeric material. Exemplary materials include liquid crystal polymers. The regions can be formed in various parts of the housing, including base plate or cover, and help reduce noise vibrations that occur during operation drive.
