摘要: We conducted a nationwide survey of mosquito distribution in Malawi from November 2011 to April 2012, and July September 2012. Using dried specimens adults collected during the survey, we analyzed their cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) gene sequences, prepared specimens, registered genetic information (658 bp) 144 individuals belonging 51 species 10 genera GenBank. obtained information, degree intraspecific variation investigated various morphological perspectives. Moreover, phylogenetic analysis medically important distributed Africa Asia explored geographical differentiation. Results showed that morphologically classified as Culex univittatus complex included individual Cx. perexiguus which, date, have not been reported southern Africa. Furthermore, Mansonia uniformis, Asia, was revealed belong genetically distinct populations, with observed differences samples suggesting they are separate species. The results further suggested ethiopicus is synonym bitaeniorhynchus, but it an independent species; although, this study, only definite difference shape wing scales. Further investigation these species, including larvae, highly recommended.
