Interoperability Results for Semantic Web Technologies Using OWL As the Interchange Language

摘要: Using Semantic Web technologies in complex scenarios requires that such correctly interoperate by interchanging ontologies using the RDF(S) and OWL languages. This interoperability is not straightforward because of high heterogeneity and, while number grows, affordable mechanisms for evaluating technology are needed to comprehend current future technologies. paper presents Interoperability Benchmarking, an international benchmarking activity involved evaluation different as interchange language. It describes resources used this activity, Lite Import Benchmark Suite IBSE tool, how use them Moreover, offers overview results eight tools participating benchmarking: one ontology-based annotation tool (GATE), three ontology frameworks (Jena, KAON2, SWI-Prolog), four development (Protege Frames, Protege OWL, SemTalk, WebODE).
