摘要: A number of different methods have been proposed to identify unanticipated burst sources gravitational waves in data arising from LIGO and other wave detectors. When confronted with such a wide variety one is moved ask if they are all necessary, i.e. given detector that assumed no signals present, do generally the same events efficiency, or each 'see' things detector? Here we consider three methods, which used within Scientific Collaboration as part its search for bursts. We find these developed identifying candidate are, fact, attuned significantly features data, suggesting may provide largely independent lists events.
