摘要: The neocortex contains specific sensory, associative, and motor areas that allow mammals to obtain a detailed map of the world adapt their behavior it. Available data suggest at least two such areas, primary visual area somatosensory area, are also present in dorsal pallium (hyperpallium/dorsal cortex) birds reptiles, likely evolved from similar found stem amniotes. However, complex anatomical functional organization hyperpallium (including columnar or columnar-like organization), role these some aspects perception depth subjective contour), independently and/or birds. Finally, available amniotes may have lacked true somatomotor this mammals.
