摘要: Infrared thermography was used to study the thermal interaction between particle-laden turbulent flow and a heated plate. Thermal streaks were observed on plate, dimensionless mean distance A+ found increase with Reynolds number. Introduction of polystyrene particles, within uncertainty limits, did not change value in flows different particle volumetric loading Qp/Qo. Particles generally accumulated warmer regions i.e. low velocity streaks. The maximum amplitude wall temperature fluctuations reached ±40% difference average fluid bulk temperature. Consequently, there are variations heat transfer coefficient same order. The addition particles changed level. location αp/αo = f(Qp/Qo) depended number coincided minimum non-dimensional RMS fluctuation ratio, at numbers. Many experimental observations presented here an ad hoc basis, since we do have, this stage, theory which can adequately describe wealth observations.
