摘要: Abstract Inventory incompleteness has seriously affected the accuracy of spatial distribution pattern biodiversity, but causes and priority investigation with quantitative methods have received far less attention. In this study, we constructed a plant database tropical East Africa, evaluated explained inventory incompleteness, identified collecting area. The results showed that collection density species richness is very uneven in 16 % regions having zero-collection, more than half incompleteness. Species completeness are mainly by road density, followed national boundaries insecurity some areas. We quantitatively selected areas Africa to supplement biodiversity data recommend prioritizing collections especially around western Kenya, southern Tanzania, border Tanzania Kenya. Future work should focus on improving digitization specimens strengthening cooperation among countries, for these best ways raise awareness patterns Africa.
