摘要: Permafrost—a widespread constituent of the terrestrial environment—by definition is dependent upon ambient temperature for its existence and properties. Thus, it very sensitive to climatic changes. Simple relations based conductive heat transfer, with thawing geothermal flow, are presented predict transient effects surface increases on thermal state permafrost. The results indicate that, usual global warming scenarios, relatively small amounts permafrost will disappear within 50–100 years. This specifically shown most thermally cases, that is, warm or relict © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
