摘要: A wrench has a pair of jaws that are disposed on handle and spaced to define an opening for workpiece. first one the defines stationary workpiece engaging surface adjacent opening, plate defining second is movably mounted allow selective movement relative between: a) state in which immobile with respect jaw so rotation direction causes grasp between respective surfaces turn direction, b) movable second, opposite move multiple directions enable slide over workpiece, thereby allowing remain stationary. Thus, tightens (or loosens) when rotated slips “ratcheting” manner direction.
