摘要: Objective: Randomized clinical trial protocol to evaluate the incidence of radial artery occlusion with two different arterial compression devices after transradial procedures. Methods: Barbeau’s test will be performed in adults scheduled undergo interventional Those A, B, or C plethysmographic patterns selected. At end procedure, patients randomly assigned (1:1) receive patent haemostasis TR Band™ device conventional an elastic adhesive bandage. The primary outcome is occlusion. Secondary outcomes are curve change, additional time achieve haemostasis, bleeding at puncture site, pain severity, development arteriovenous fistula, pseudo aneurysm, any access-site complication requiring vascular surgery intervention and costs between devices. Discussion: results this should provide valuable information on best approach for percutaneous cardiovascular interventions. Keywords: controlled trial. Cardiac catheterization/adverse effects. Radial artery. Hemostatic techniques.
