摘要: Abstract Uncertainty in past and future anthropogenic carbon emissions obscures climate change modelling. Available allometrics are insufficient for regional-level accounting of old-growth, pre-logging stocks. The project goal was to determine the aboveground (biomass necromass) a typical old-growth Eucalyptus delegatensis-dominated mixed-forest Tasmania. Allometrics were developed biomass delegatensis generic rainforest understorey species. A total 207 eucalypts with DBH 0.21–4.5 m, 897 trees 0.01–2.52 m measured across 7.7 ha. frequency distribution E. showed at least two age cohorts distinct positive skew, whereas its negative skew. Half eucalypt from DBH > 2.4(0.1) m, 16% DBH ≥ 3.5 m (from ∼1.1 ha−1) – indicating importance high DBH. Aboveground 622(180) Mg ha...
