摘要: Abstract Frozen tissue immunoreactivity with Ki-67, a monoclonal antibody that recognizes nuclear antigen in nonresting or proliferating cells, was compared to DNA flow cytometry results (from fresh tissue) diverse group of 60 soft-tissue lesions. Both index and Ki-67 score were independently reported be associated grade prognosis sarcomas, but no direct comparison these two variables made. It attempted measure proliferative activity fixed paraffin-embedded tissues immunohistochemically subset lesions using an another proliferation antigen, p105. Lesions given according lesion category (reactive, 1; benign, 2; low-grade malignant, 3; high-grade 4). reactivity correlated relatively well this grading system (r = 0.59); benign usually exhibited low malignant not always high score. For example, some fibrous histiocytomas contained only rare positive cells. Some disparity between within histologic types indicates independence from features, fact may important when correlation is performed. However did correlate data such as percentage S phase 0.30), + G2M phases 0.37), 0.39). This probably due the also marks cells G1 phase, whereas are excluded analyses. Anti-p105 highlighted almost all nuclei cases tested, including fibromatosis, score, cytometric data. Results p105 could favorably affected by titration experiments. reasonable conclude variable related independent grade, type, values. Whether it prognostically human has been suggested, awaits further clinicopathologic study.
