An adaptive context acquisition framework to support mobile spatial and context-aware applications

摘要: The increasing number of mobile devices allows users to access applications anytime and anywhere. In such applications, location is a key information improve the interaction between user services. Existing combine with other context information, as weather, user's activity, temperature, among others. However, developing context-aware still non-trivial task due complexity implement management. Additionally, existing management infrastructures are too brittle handle changes in underlying execution infrastructure. this scenario, work proposes acquisition framework, which tries reduce development spatial applications. framework uses tuples space OSGi promote uncoupling adapt itself according application requirements. A proof concept was developed order show how filters can be easily implemented during tracking application.
