摘要: Abstract Intermodal transport is the combination and integration of several modes (such as rail, inland waterways with road transport). In order to make transhipment easy efficient standard loading units are used, such containers or swap-bodies. As for main haul, more environmental friendly used (rail waterways) a modal shift towards these can help in reducing congestion. Therefore policies directed stimulate intermodal market. this paper, location analysis model Belgian terminals (LAMBIT) developed assess different policy measures Belgium. The simulations show that oriented rail/road waterways/road combinations should be incorporated coherent, integrated vision, not create between options. methodology easily extended European scale.
