摘要: Abstract Background Previous studies have reported important roles of endothelin-1 (ET-1) and angiotensin II (Ang II) in the pathogenesis atherosclerosis. However, expression these two proteins underlying mechanisms human atherosclerotic coronary arteries are largely unknown. Methods We examined ET-1 Ang pericardial fluid from 25 individuals (n=25) using enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay (ELISA) immunohistochemistry. Twelve patients died acute syndrome were classified as plaque group (AP group) (n=12), while 13 other causes non-AP (n=13). Meanwhile, we performed reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) to measure six microRNAs targeting formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded arteries. Results Our data showed that was significantly higher both AP group. no significant difference between groups, it even lower Besides, miR-125a-5p, miR-155, miR-199a/b-3p, which suppressed ET-1, down-regulated Conclusion The up-regulation regulated by indicated played an role Summary focused on with plaques. well its upstream miRNAs, determined. Unlike any previous study regarding miRNAs expression, could exclude discrepancy artery-bed-specific miRNA expression. our indicated, some degree, might play a more vital than
