Quasi-Periodic Features Due to Clumps Orbiting around a Black Hole

摘要: The expected Fourier power-spectrum density is examined with regard to the shape and quality factor Q of features which are predicted appear in a signal from clumps orbiting near marginally stable orbit compact body. It shown that distributed randomly narrow range radii produce quasi-periodic oscillations w 102, similar those observed many low-mass X-ray binaries.
