摘要: Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are known as a class of pharmaceutical agents that target H+/K+-ATPase, which is located in gastric parietal cells. PPIs widely used the treatment acid-related diseases including peptic ulcer disease, erosive esophagitis and gastroesophageal reflux so on. These drugs present an excellent safety profile have become one most commonly prescribed primary specialty care. Except for diseases, can also be Helicobacter pylori infection, viral infections, respiratory system cancer Although mainly short term patients with nowadays these increasingly long term, frequently lifetime, instance typical or atypical symptoms disease NSAID aspirin users at risk gastrotoxicity related complications hemorrhage, perforation outlet obstruction. Long-term use may lead to potential adverse effects, such osteoporotic fracture, renal damage, infection (pneumonia clostridium difficile infection), rhabdomyolysis, nutritional deficiencies (vitamin B12, magnesium iron), anemia thrombocytopenia. In this article, we will review some novel uses other fields summarize underlying reactions.
