摘要: The progressive increase in lifespan over the past century carries with it some adversity related to accompanying burden of debilitating diseases prevalent older population. This review focuses on oxidative stress as a major mechanism limiting longevity general, and healthful aging, particular. Accordingly, first goal this is discuss role longevity, compare aging its mechanisms different models. Secondly, we common signaling pathways involved protection against associated e.g., neurological, cardiovascular metabolic diseases, cancer. Much literature has focused murine models which will be discussed first, followed by comparison human their relationship protection. Finally, extent exhibit features through physiological protective exercise tolerance increased β-adrenergic also diabetes other obesity, cancer, neurological aging-induced cardiomyopathy, cardiac osteoporosis.
