摘要: A process for reducing the ash content and of metals present in used motor oils by contacting oil with an aqueous solution ammonium sulfate and/or bisulfate under conditions to react metal compounds form separable solids. In another embodiment invention, after reaction can be further treated adsorbent then optionally hydrotreated produce product suitable as a fuel or feedstock lubricating compositions.
