摘要: Austenite corresponds to a major constituent of carbide-free bainitic steels required obtain enhanced deformability assisted by transformation-induced plasticity. It is, therefore, foremost importance retain sufficient amounts during processing and heat treatment. In order analyze describe the tempering reactions occurring heating material consisting ferrite C-enriched austenite, complementary thermal analysis protocol has been applied using dilatometry differential scanning calorimetry. Thereby, kinetic parameters were determined interpreted in view literature supporting calculations. decomposition was observed both methods temperature regime about 500°C. The reaction’s signature revealed calculation transformation enthalpy. Dilatometry suggests that highly austenite predominates at lower temperatures and, on further heating, regions with C concentrations follow. Additionally, redistribution already between 230°C 330°C.
