摘要: Assessment of surface water quality in the Mississippi Delta is essential to quantify eutrophication Gulf Mexico. This study estimated characteristics and variations at three sites Big Sunflower River Watershed (BSRW) within using Kruskal-Wallis, Dunn, Mann-Kendall, Pettitt tests. In general, contents some constituents such as nitrate-nitrogen (NO3 − N) total phosphorus (TP) BSRW varied from site each year, whereas other pH dissolved oxygen (DO) year were basically not significant. The highest median concentrations found spring for NO3 − N and nitrogen (TN); summer specific conductance (SC), Na, Cl; winter DO. Mann-Kendall trend analysis revealed that there was an increasing annual Leland but a decreasing Merigold NO3 − N concentrations even though changes very small, no TP any sites. Pettitt’s test further identified NO3 − N had abrupt increase February 2009 value 0.44 mg L−1 decrease June 2012 3.65 mg L−1 Merigold. A good linear correlation existed between solid (TDS) magnesium (Mg) BSRW, which could be used estimate TDS Mg this watershed when data are absent.
