摘要: Blood smears and purified trypanosome from freshwater fishes yellow catfish (Pseudobagras fulvidraco) common carp (Cyprinus carpio) captured Niushan Lake, Hubei Province were examined to determine whether all of their trypanosomes Trypanosoma pseudobagri, a species supposed host specificity widespread existence across China. Trypanosomes occurred in 16/16 blood smears, morphometric character analysis these showed that there three morphospecies, sp Carpio, T. Pseudobagri, sp. 18S rDNA sequences 16 samples revealed genetic groups among fish trypanosomes. Group 1 was C. carpio containing Carpio; 2 3 P. fulvidraco Pseudobagri sp, respectively. The high similarity characters Carpio siniperca probably the same species. first occurrence Sequence comparison sequence most similar clone Marv, whereas differ those by 5.4 5.8%, respectively, tentatively identified as pseudobagri. It concluded trypanosomes, at least genotypes occur Lake fishes, this region appear contain both types, although identification pseudobagri remains problem.
