摘要: Beginning in 1995, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), Office of Research and Development has focused much its ecological research Mid-Atlantic as part Integrated Assessment (MAIA). The goal MAIA is to improve assessability scientific information environmental decision-making. Following Monitoring Program (EMAP) whose guide monitoring that effectively reflects current ecosystem condition trends, MAIA's second, current, phase under Regional Vulnerability (ReVA) program designed target risk management activities using available data models. papers presented here are from a conference held May 2003 results this second MAIA. was organized into following topics: 1. Assessing Current Impacts Vulnerabilities 2. Forecasting Condition 3. Developing Management Strategies Optimize Future, 4. Responding Vulnerability.
