摘要: Abstract Feeding structure in a reflector system directly affects radiation characteristics of the antenna. With this research, design procedure is introduced for high gain reflectors with ultra-wide band (UWB) planar dielectric lens antenna (PDLA) feeds. Traditionally, feed elements broadband applications require to exhibit frequency stable patterns and phase center positions across broad band. However, UWB PDLAs have highly directive radiations one plane fan beams on other plane. Phase PDLA almost plane, whereas apparent variation observed The latter located far behind moves significantly frequency. Although these unfavorable as feeds, using introduced, novel procedure, achieved 4–9 GHz illuminated designed by combining two parabolic having different appropriate focal length-to-diameter (F/D) ratios favor E- H-plane radiations. Simulated results are validated both ray tracing method analytic solutions.
