摘要: Doping of alumino-silicate crucibles with MgO, CaO, or BaO aimed for improving their performance towards Al-alloy melts in aluminium foundry industry. Depending on the particular oxide, doping considerably affects microstructure and crystalline state resulting ceramics, as well interfacial reactions Al-alloys at elevated temperatures. Analysis reaction features, terms zone structure, mechanism kinetics, each indicates that intensity kinetics follow order MgO>BaO>CaO.
