摘要: X-ray patterns of the Ba{sub 1}Cs{sub 0.28}Fe{sub 0.82}Al{sub 1.46}Ti{sub 5.72}O{sub 16} compound evidence two wide peaks at low angle in addition to well defined I4/m hollandite structure type. Two hypotheses have been explored account for these features: coexistence phase with an amorphous and appearance a commensurate or incommensurate modulated associated cationic ordering, as proposed literature. Actually, even if quantification by Rietveld method reveals about 15 wt% non-crystalline some powdered sample, origin was found stem from character type (super space group I4/m(0 0 {gamma})0 0) distribution modulation wavevectors presumably related slight chemical composition changes. - Graphical abstract: Amorphous localization.
