摘要: Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) Systems can reduce the number of medication errors and Adverse Drug Events (ADEs). However, studies have shown that users often override alerts, as they feel these are too unspecific for given patient context. It is unclear, however, how alerts could be contextualized, adapted to clinical Based on a literature search, we developed list 20 possible context factors. We asked 69 international CPOE researchers 120 physicians from four hospitals in two countries judge usefulness each factor. Researchers judged following factors most important: 1.) Severity effect, 2.) Clinical status patient, 3.) Probability occurrence, 4.) Risk 5.) Strength evidence. Physicians patients, complexity case, class drug. These top-ranked used re-design way presented systems, increase sensitivity overriding rates, improve safety.
