摘要: Five new triplet excited states of the ND radical (three in case NH) wave‐number range 85 000–91 000 cm−1 have been identified through analysis two‐photon resonance enhancements they provide to wavelength‐resolved multiphoton ionization spectrum X 3Σ− state NH(ND) radicals. The lowest energy these, B 3Π state, is found be a ‘‘regular’’ Rydberg which, on basis its observed quantum defect and deduced rotational spin–orbit coupling constant, surmised 3Π derived from 3pσ electron built 2Π ground‐state ion core. Perturbations are evident B 3Π–X 3Σ− origin bands both NH ND.
