摘要: Abstract Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy is combined with a spark discharge to operate in laser triggered mode. This (SD-LIBS) evaluated for Al and Cu targets air under atmospheric pressure. Significant enhancement the measured line intensities signal-to-background ratios, which depend on voltage fluence, observed when compared alone similar conditions. The increase applied both targets, ratio of intensity using that found as fluence decreased. For II 358.56, such increases from ∼50 ∼400 decreased 48 4 J/cm 2 at an 3.5 kV. Thus, allows pulses relatively low energy ablate studied material, causing less ablation, hence damage its surface. Moreover, applying gives up 6-fold S / B ratio, those obtained investigated spectral emission lines.
