摘要: Abstract This paper demonstrates that US prestige-press coverage of global warming from 1988 to 2002 has contributed a significant divergence popular discourse scientific discourse. failed discursive translation results an accumulation tactical media responses and practices guided by widely accepted journalistic norms. Through content analysis prestige press—meaning the New York Times , Washington Post Los Angeles Wall Street Journal —this focuses on norm balanced reporting, shows press's adherence balance actually leads biased both anthropogenic contributions resultant action.
