摘要: Abstract In this study, the fundamental aspects of gas chromatography with a pulsed flame photometric detector were investigated through calibration gaseous reduced sulfur compounds based on direct injection method. Gaseous standards five (hydrogen sulfide, methane thiol, dimethyl carbon disulfide, and disulfide) calibrated as function volume concentration level. The results evaluated by means two contrasting approaches: fixed standard method (variable volumetric gases prepared at given concentration) (injection multiple varying concentrations volume). optimum detection limit values compounds, when estimated 100 μL volume, ranged from 2.37 pg (carbon to 4.89 pg (dimethyl sulfide). Although these improved gradually decreasing minimum detectable (e.g., in nmol mol−1 scale) remained constant due balance sample reduction. linearity property also appeared vary dynamically changes its sensitivity. According performance detector, tested method, is highly reliable precisely describe behavior above ∼20 nmol mol−1.
