摘要: Measurements of blowing snow transport over wind-scoured terrain in the Scottish Highlands indicate mass fluxes several orders magnitude less than for complete covers. A model processes indicates that vertical out near-surface atmospheric boundary-layer and sublimation within this deplete supply snow, with important implications downwind accumulations forested areas topographic depressions. Aspects alpine such as wind speed profiles aerodynamic surface roughness are also addressed.
