Cost-effectivity analysis of one-step versus two-step screening for gestational diabetes.

摘要: Objective: Early diagnosis of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is important for both maternal and fetal health. The literature has varying recommendations about one-step two-step tests GDM screening diagnosis. present study aimed to investigate the difference in cost duration hospital stay a pro cedure compared procedure, which routinely performed our hospital. Materials Methods: procedure was 2,724 pregnant women, 185 women. procedures were with respect cost. Results: test per woman 0.75 TL less procedure; however, 18.6 min longer, number blood sampling 1.08 times higher. Conclusion: method may be preferred over (or glucose challenge) due its diagnostic value lower
