摘要: Extinction spectra of colloidal gold can be used for a simple and fast determination the size concentration nanoparticles. It is generally accepted that experimental correlations particle with plasmon resonance properties are in agreement Mie theory simulations. Here, we discuss this point context long-term collection published data our T-matrix simulations, which account deviations from ideal monodisperse spheres. These result small but quite evident disagreements between calculations calibration curves “particle vs wavelength”. We present long-term-averaged analytical particle-size also effects dielectric functions, shape polydispersity on simulated extinction average size, concentration.
