摘要: Aims To determine the usefulness of contrast echocardiography in diagnosis aortic dissection (AD) and assessment findings necessary for adequate patient management. Methods results Conventional contrast-enhanced transthoracic (TTE) transoesophageal (TOE) were performed 128 consecutive patients with clinically suspected acute AD. Results validated independently against intraoperative 45 computed tomography information 83. Sensitivity specificity conventional TTE increased after enhancement from 73.7 to 86.8% ( P < 0.005) 71.2 90.4% 0.05), respectively. enhanced similar TOE ascending aorta (93.3 vs. 95.6% 97.6 96.4%, respectively) arch (88.4 93.0% 95.3 98.82%, respectively). Contrast-enhanced permitted location non-visualized entry tear seven cases (10.6%), helped correctly identify true lumen six (9.1%), diagnosed retrograde nine (13.6%). Conclusion Contrast substantially improves AD should be considered as initial imaging modality emergency setting. also has significant value obtaining critical morphological haemokinetic by useful management.
