摘要: The research was done on 33 crossbreed rabbits of both sexes. control group made up 10 rabbits, not treated with methylprednisolone. The 23 methylprednisolone /1 mg/kg/day/. Depot type /Depo-Medrol Upjohn/ the experiment easier and decreased risk local infection. All underwent partial synovectomy right knee under anesthesia 0.5% xylocaine, followed by immobilization operated joint in sitting position. The plaster cast left for 2 weeks, then removed unrestricted rabbit’s activity within a cage permitted. Examination mobility range knee-joint goniometer unoperated knees experimental immediately after removal i.e. weeks surgery 1 week free activity. functional results reveled difference 48.5 degrees movement between comparing to group, only 7.5 degrees/!/ Depo-Medrol. 3 36 2.6 steroids. There no cells counts blood, level alkaline phosphates calcaemia steroids rabbits. Depo-Medrol showed small transitory hyperglicaemia hypergliceridemia. Further investigations orthopedic practice have be introduce as safe proof treatment some difficult cases human surgery.
