摘要: Publisher Summary The secretory granules of juxtaglomerular cells are endowed with several functional and structural properties, which otherwise characteristic for lysosomes. These include ultrastructural similarities, autophagic phenomena, the reaction to lysosomotropic agents, uptake exogenous tracers, coexistence, in these granules, renin a variety lysosomal enzymes. Another facet this similarity is close relationship between enzyme cathepsin D renin, both belonging family aspartyl-proteinases, probably originating from common ancestor. Taken together, observations lend support hypothesis that modified lysosomes, which, during metaplastic transformation vascular smooth muscle epithelioid cells, have acquired capability process, condense, store, release upon appropriate stimulation. In it difficult identify renin-negative organelles characteristics secondary except multivesicular bodies, originate endosomes. It is, therefore, speculated lysosomes thathave specialized function handling, also retained, some extent, original abilities, such as degradation cellular or foreign material by autophagocytosis endocytosis, respectively.
