摘要: Methylene blue (MB) was adsorbed from aqueous solutions onto a kaolinite and four soil samples to determine the effects of MB dimerization on measured surface area. Adsorption isotherms were prepared using adsorbing containing, respectively, 9, 46, 71, 83% molecules in dimeric state. Langmuir-type obtained each case. The results indicate that equilibration occurs quickly. aggregation state at does not depend initial solutions, but final equilibrium concentration MB. A comparison with specific area by adsorption ethylene glycol monoethyl ether indicates adsorbs as monomer, regardless number solution. This result owing strength monomer-surface monomer-monomer interactions. If interactions are favored, dimer monomeric form. may occur. visible spectra indicated present mixture species. These suggest dimers formed contact region between two aggregating particles.
